Look after your dishwasher

Here is some dishwashing tips you can have a go at at home but remember if you cant get it to work we have a some recommended trades who can sort it out for you, usually it can be fixed saving you the time and expense of getting a new one! If the cutlery trolley will not come out easily it maybe a thought that the wheels need replacing, this can be done very cheaply and easily and if the cutlery is falling through the bottom of the basket it’s time to replace it. You can pick these up cheaply from sites such as espares which stock just about anything.

It’s a yucky fact but cooking grease and limescale can build up in your dishwasher. You may already be using a top selling limescale and detergent remover for your washing machine, but did you know that it can be used in the dishwasher too? It’s formulated to cut through cooking grease so give it a go.

If one rack of dishes isn’t getting clean, check to make sure that the spray arm can move freely in the machine. If your spray arm is blocked or has a crack then it needs to be replaced.
