General Repairs & Maintenance

Plumbing: Fault finding including leak diagnosis & repairs, repairs to and replacement of toilet/

cistern, baths, basins, showers, taps and unblocking drains & waste pipes.

Electrical: Fault finding, fuse replacement, replacement of general electrical fittings and

undertaking electrical inspections, tests and providing Condition Reports.

Windows & Doors: Repairs to and replacement/installation of UPVC windows & doors,

composite doors, skylights.

Roofing: Repairs to and replacement of tiled/slate pitched roofs, flat roof including fibreglass &

felt coverings, chimney repairs, replacement leadwork, fascias/soffits/bargeboards and rainwater

goods.

Flooring: Repairs to and replacement of timber and concrete floors and laying of floor coverings

including carpet, laminate, ceramic tiled and vinyl coverings.

Painting & Decorating: Internal and external painting and decoration to masonry, plaster,

timber and metalwork, including painting, varnishing, wall coverings and decorative cladding

and coving fitting.

General Wet Trades: Internal plastering, external rendering, brick & block wall construction and

repairs.

Gardening and Groundworks: General landscaping, laying of patio slabs and decking, laying of

lawns, general garden clearance and maintenance.

Carpentry: Replacement doors and associated ironmongery, general internal carpentry

including skirting boards, architraves, staircases/balustrades, timber floor repairs, construction of

timber stud partitions.

Renovations

We can locate suitable buildings within the clients budget and brief and undertake a detailed

property survey and a feasibility report detailing the earning potential from the property and

advise on suggested uses and estimated costs of works required.

Subject to further instructions, we will then prepare all the necessary design plans, planning

applications etc as well as obtaining estimates and quotations from our approved subcontractors

to obtain the most competitive costs for the works, which will be fully managed

by us as Principal Contractor to ensure the agreed budget, timescales and compliance with all

relevant legislation are met.

During the works, we will maintain a very close working relationship with the client in order that

any necessary changes to the design/scope of works are managed appropriately.

Once the works to the property are complete, we can then assist the client with selling or leasing

the property(s), and offer a full management service, including repairs, Landlord/Tenant services

if the property(s) is/are leased.

New Builds & Extensions

We can locate suitable plots of land for potential development. We also assist homeowners in

extending/altering their existing properties with single and two story extensions and or loft

conversions.

Subject to further instructions, we will then prepare all the necessary design plans, planning

applications etc as well as obtaining estimates and quotations from our approved subcontractors

to obtain the most competitive costs for the works, which will be fully managed

by us as Principal Contractor to ensure the agreed budget, timescales and compliance with all

relevant legislation are met.

During the works, we will maintain a very close working relationship with the client in order that

Architectural/Surveying Services

Our in-house Building Surveyor can undertake building, condition and measured surveys and

produce design plans for (elevations and floor plans) using AutoCad for extensions, new builds

and refurbishment projects, in addition to producing all necessary specifications and reports to

ensure a smooth running of the job as well as fully project manage the job from start to finish.

Our Building Surveyor will also act as the Principal Designer under the Construction (Design

& Management) Regulations 2015 for notifiable projects and prepare all necessary Pre-

Construction Information, review Construction Health & Safety Plans and deal with HSE

Notification.

Property Management

PPS Maintenance and Renovations have a full team of competent tradesmen whom can carry

out any repair or replacement required to ensure an effective running of the property.

Ensure that all contracts are underwritten and signed and agreed by the Tenants and Landlords

to ensure rents are paid, damages sorted and paid for and inventories are up to date and carried

out. Insurance claim works will be undertaken without any issues.

Video Inventories & Surveys

We carry out detailed video inventories to highlight the condition of the property internally and

externally, including identifying any repairs and maintenance issues. During the inspection, we

will visually check and test all electrical and plumbing fixtures, fittings and appliances.

Following the assessment, a full report will be written. Our Building Surveyor can carry

out full condition, measured and dilapidation surveys to properties, in addition to making

recommendations for improvements to increase the property’s potential resale value.
